I’m
sure everyone has their own idea of what they think the common lottery player
looks like. What ever that image profile may be, you’d be shocked at what the
research and statistics say. Are you ready for this? Ok. Here we go. 18% of
lottery players have an annual salary of $100,000 or more. Close to half of all
lottery players have an undergraduate degree or higher. So, you think the study
was conducted by a small group hm? Nope. This is data presented by the Texas
Lottery Commission and verified by some of our major enterprise level partners.
Lottery actually touches many Americans. 57% of the U.S.A. population 18 years
of age and older play lottery at least once a year. Is that not shocking? Take
even the gender demographic, 49% of all lottery players are Female. That’s
crazy how evenly split the gender class of lottery players are. For the skeptics out there you may be
thinking, well, this may all be so, but lottery players are mostly 50 years of
age of older, right? Incorrect. Interesting enough, the highest age group among
lottery players is between 18 and 34 years of age. Talk about overcoming all the
stereotypes, right? Now let’s paint that picture a little differently from what
you might have thought the common lottery player looked like in the beginning
of this article shall we? That Powerball player at your local convenience store
could very well be a 30 year old woman with a Master’s degree from your State’s
university. The other nights Megamillion’s jackpot winner could very well be a
young professional making a $100,000 salary. You just never know. So what have we learned here? Let’s just avoid the
stereotypes and embrace the chance to win something grand for a minimal
investment. And follow that ticket up with YooLotto. Why? Because at least
you’ll always get something back ;) Good day.
